Marketing & Social Media Manager


We are looking for a responsible, reliable and fun part-time Marketing and SM Manager to add to our team. The time commitment will be typically be 10 hours per week, but could be up to 15 hours.  This role can be done remotely at home.

Qualifying applicants should energetic with a strong desire to learn and grow in vacation rentals, real estate, business or marketing. Best fits will see value in not just money compensations but in the entrepreneurial mentorship.

Some tasks may include (but are not limited to):

  • Responsible for content production (Video, Blog, SM Post) for both Live Swell Beach Bungalows and Vacation Rental Dojo 
  • Responsible for scheduling and publishing content
  • Oversee management of specific promotion or campaigns
  • Posting content rich blogs on website (and learning basic SEO)
  • Capturing video, documenting processes etc.
  • Required to meet virtually once per week to discuss progress and projects

The selected candidate will be paid as an independent contractor ($11/hour).

Personal Assistant (OBX Local)- Now Hiring!


We are looking for a responsible, reliable and fun part-time assistant to add to our team for summer help. The time commitment will be typically be 10 hours per week, but could be up to 14 hours with additional income and growth opportunities. This role will require transport, but very minimal.

Qualifying applicants should energetic with a strong desire to learn and grow in real estate, management, business or marketing. Best fits will see value in not just money compensations but in the entrepreneurial mentorship.

Some tasks may include (but are not limited to):

  • General personal assistant tasks (Coffee/Juice, Pick Up Items from Local Stores + Drop Off)
  • General Admin: Produce copies, signs, fill out forms, prepare mail or marketing material
  • Solving technical issues & calling customer support for fixes (Computer, Modem, Media)
  • Inspection of Vacation Rentals (Pull in / put out trash cans)
  • Light Marketing: Posting content rich blogs on website (and learning basic SEO), social media posting
  • Help capturing video, documenting processes etc.
  • Required to meet minimum once per week for exchange of deliverables

The selected candidate will be paid as an independent contractor ($11/hour).  Other income opportunities may evolve including Rental Turn Over Cleaning (Approximately $100/per turn) and other Management opportunities.

Property Management Assistant (OBX Local)- Hiring for 2021


We are looking for a responsible, reliable and fun Property Management Assistant to add to our team late 2020 to early 2021.  This individual will help manage our boutique brand of beach bungalows in various capacities.  The primary goal is ensuring our guest are happy.

The commitment is expected to be full time.  Possible off-hour emergencies could occur and the Assistant may be responsible to respond. This role will require transport, but very minimal.

Qualifying applicants should be energetic with a strong desire to learn and grow in real estate, management, business or marketing. Best fits will see value in not just dollar compensation but in the entrepreneurial mentorship.

Responsibilities include:

  • Upkeep of guest reservation data and details (Data Entry)
  • Property Inspections & Reporting:  Prior to each incoming guest arrival
  • Purchasing Supplies and manage inventory
  • Stellar guest communication
  • Resolve any guest issues or irritations
  • Required to meet once per week team meeting and review

Turn Over Cleaning Specialist - Now Hiring


At Live Swell we take pride in providing guests a "Sparkling Clean" beach house.  If you are like us, and believe in Sparkling Clean, our Turn Over Cleaning opportunity may be for you.

Our compensation is some of the highest in the industry.  Beware, however, our guests expectations of a clean place are very high (especially today), so this position won't be a fit for everyone.  Please DO NOT apply if your cleaning standards are not extremely high or you don't take pride in your work!  

Responsibilities include:

Housekeeping + Cleaning:  You have the ability to follow and execute detailed “turn-over” cleanings checklists for multiple vacation rental properties.  We are pet friendly, so some cleans may have more hair, but not always (don't worry we compensate our cleaners more for this).

Availability: Must complete full Scope of Work (Cleaning Checklist) between 11 Am - 2:30 Pm.  Turn Over Cleans happen 7 days per week, all year.

Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with manager and guests (only if crossing paths).  Must be able to send email report to PM immediately upon completion of work.

Compensation: The selected candidate will participate in 4 onboarding cleans, which are paid at a reduced rate.  Upon successful completion, the individual will be paid the full cleaning rates (in the $25/hr range).  This position is paid an independent contractor and be responsible your any taxes.

Onboarding includes:

  • 1 Training Clean with Manager
  • 3 Onboarding Cleans

Other income opportunities may evolve as we grow, including management and property inspections.  So if your looking to grow with us, this could be a good opportunity.
