The Avalon Pier was built in 1958 and is about 700 ft long. The Avalon beach access is located right by the pier. After some time in the surf and sand, take a stroll out on the pier. Want to get closer to the action? Bring your own poll or rent one from the Pier shop. With the newly renovated bar, "vintage" arcade and Awful Arthur's right across the street, this location can't be beat!
