My good friends and fellow adventurers, Cedric Hodgeman and Raul Roman, and I are very like minded. Cedric and Raul, started UBELONG.org an organization that make international volunteering affordable and safe several years back, they envisioned an elevated volunteer experience just like we strive to elevate the surf vacation experience. Like all entrepreneurs they have had their challenges growing the business yet they have been able to create an opportunity that they believe in, are making a positive impact globally and are living their passion.
They truly are the ‘masters of their fates: and captains of their souls.’I am not suggesting one has to be an entrepreneur, however, in order to feel the freedom and live one’s passion, consistent action around our thoughts and beliefs must occur to live your lifestyle by design…we are the result of what we do everyday, big and small.
If we want to get more out of life, contribute and give back, feel fulfilled and just plain live swell….we must commit to ourselves.
