Looking at Surfline’s Best Best March 2015: New Zealand, we were stoked with the long point breaks, but a bit disappointed in the airfare. Sure, not everyone can simply come up with the $1500 round trip from LAX or worse; what if you are on the east coast or coming from another spot….that figure can double and triple quickly….and make the trip out of reach for most surf travelers.
So we have a solution, its not a perfect one…but it is better than none and has helped us at Live Swell literally travel to New Zealand and #RTW (around the world) on airline travel points…..Nothing better than surfing uncrowded waves in another country than getting there for free, nearly, maybe just $150 in taxes.
